Our Reports.

Sector report.

Our sector reports are designed to reveal how the impact of online media coverage on your brand stacks up when the audience is looking for generic information about a sector.

It compares your online media outcomes to those of key competitors when people are interested at the high level in a sector such as mobile phones, universities, electric cars, insurance, airlines or hotels.

This report provides a cost-effective starting point for understanding your positioning and awareness levels compared to the sector as a whole. Although it does not provide the same level of detail as a full competitor report, it is great for pinpointing what the audience is likely to be taking out of media coverage about companies in the sector.

Standard report.

The standard report covers one brand, in a single geographical market. It analyses daily data over a time period of up to 12 months, to show PR outcomes in context.

The standard report is suitable for clients who need a one-off campaign evaluation, or as a monthly / quarterly report for those wanting to receive regular, like-for-like analysis of PR effectiveness.

Contents include:

  • Size of audience most likely to have seen, read and responded to media coverage
  • Impact of communication activity on Google search and / or Google analytics
  • Identification of named media making the largest contribution to audience and business outcomes
  • Identification of key themes, topics and issues most likely to be influencing the interested audience and driving audience response
  • Relevance of coverage – is it predominantly about your brand (high relevance) or incidental (low relevance)?
  • Backlinks generated by digital PR (where required)
  • Analysis for one geographical market

Competitor analysis.

Competitor analysis can be added to a standard report, with the same set of deliverables as outlined above. See also our Quantum product, which is a subscription-based service.

Additional market analysis.

Competitor analysis can be added to a standard report, with the same set of deliverables as outlined above. See also our Quantum product, which is a subscription-based service.

Addition of an independent data set.

Sometimes, clients ask us to include analysis of how media coverage influences other aspects of business results, beyond Google search or Google Analytics.

Where clients are able to provide additional data from internal systems and sources (social media data / paid search advertising results / sales revenue / brand tracking, etc) we can provide a tailored quote to incorporate these in the analysis.

Our methodology is extremely flexible and aims to provide maximum value for money. If your requirements cover multiple product names, brands, markets, languages, competitors or data sets, please contact us to discuss your specific insight needs.

Issue-based report.

Today, many of our clients are concerned about how the media audience perceives them in relation to a key issue, for example climate change or sustainability. For ESG governance it is important to know how significant issues are affecting customer and other stakeholder perceptions. In-depth analysis of how issues are playing out in media coverage helps brands to communicate more effectively and precisely, while avoiding reputational damage.
